A BIT ABOUT US

Wine and Company is a specialty wine shop near Cape Town in the Western Cape, based in the sea-side village of Hermanus, and close to the Hemel en Aarde Valley.

We stock South African wines from all over the Western Cape, including the Overberg, Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Elim, Elgin and the Swartland, mostly from small-scale, boutique wine estates and independent winemakers.

Many are organic or ‘natural’ wines produced in tiny quantities, naturally fermented, unfined, unfiltered and with minimal added sulphur.

We have been called “the coolest wine shop”, and also have Craft Gin and Beer, as well as gifts and wine accessories such as Riedel glassware and CorkPops openers.

We strive to bring the best wines possible and our goal is to showcase the wines that our local surrounding vineyards make. We only store the best of wines and aim to always bring you a wine that is better than the best you have had.

Where people may say that there isn’t a wine for every occasion, we beg to differ, and with our wide range of wines to select from, our staff will help you pick out the best wine to make every moment the best moment.
