Description

2021 Chenin Blanc Tasting notes: The grapes are all from the Stuart Family Vineyards on Natimby Farm in Botriver. This slightly more serious food wine was fermented on the skins then barrel matured for 8 months before bottling. The wine has some rich but fresh notes of golden sultanas and freshly baked pears which, on the palate, shows all the characteristics and depth of a slightly wooded, fruity and fresh Chenin Blanc. The flavours on the entry are soft and ripe nectarine and peach and a subtle and balanced finish of perfectly ripened grapefruit.

Serve chilled and a wine that will accompany any fish, poultry and pasta dishes.
