Harvested from the lovely vineyards of Elim on soils varying from shale, gravel and Ferricrete also known as Koffieklip. Minimal intervention throughout the winemaking process created a beautiful cool climate Syrah. After de-stemming the wine fermented naturally in open-top fermenters and benefitted from daily punch-downs. The wine then spent 11 months in partly new and older French oak and was bottled in February 2023. The wine was made in a natural way, with only sulphur additions.
