Description

2019 Syrah Tasting notes: The grapes are all from the Stuart Family Vineyards on Natimby Farm in Botriver. This soft, fruit driven well balanced Syrah was matured for 24 months in two and three year old French oak barrels. This wine has aromatics of well ripened dark fruits which give way to soft baked plum and blueberry on the palate. The tannins are all well integrated into the wine leaving a soft but fruity finish. A perfect gift and to be enjoyed with special friends, new and serious wine drinkers and meals of rich and flavourful stews, all meats barbecued or braaied and pasta dishes.
